In February, ima designer Bryce Frost completed his first marathon and raised over $1,000 for Imerman Angels, a cancer support group that aims “To provide personalized connections that enable one-on-one support among cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers”. Events such as the LA Marathon help raise funds allowing the service to be free and help anyone touched by any type of cancer, at any cancer stage level, at any age, living anywhere in the world. Bryce ran the race for Kale Schmidt, a strong little 5 year old boy from Bryce’s home in Iowa. Kale has been undergoing treatment the past year and is currently fighting non-Hodgkin’s burkitts lymphoma and him and his family continue to “Plow through Cancer”. Bryce finished his race in four hours and forty minutes, placing in his age division at 302 out of 1,251 runners. Overall he placed 3,177 out of 20,627 runners. Bryce said “it was an incredible day from start to finish. I had an inspiring team to work with, a supportive friend who helped with training and race day logistics, and a celebratory group who helped welcome me across the finish line. The race was injury-free, and for the most part pain-free which made for a truly enjoyable experience.”.
