In the City of Lake Forest a new outdoor shopping experience, The Orchard at Saddleback is taking shape as the community’s premier gathering space.
Surrounding the project’s 800,000 square-foot (74,322 square-meter/111 mu) Craftsman designed stores, will be stands of fruit-producing citrus orchards, captivating shoppers with scents of orange and lemon blossoms. Wide pergolas and trellises will be draped with Lavender Wisteria. Swaying olive trees provide afternoon shade and cool respite. The Orchard’s power tenants are linked through a series of walkways lined with thyme and rosemary, leading to a outdoor living space with benches and tables for al fresco dining.
Along the site’s perimeter, El Toro Road is being updated as a gateway boulevard, complete with vibrant median landscaping, parkways and pedestrian walkways.
