The Asia & Pacific Trade Center is located on 18 acres (seven hectares) of Osaka Bay’s commercial and port waterfront. The project’s landscape architecture encourages tenants and visitors to step outside and experience the refreshing beauty of an urban setting on the waterfront.
A wave walk was created to unify the magnificent view of the bay and the sky above at any hour of the day. The wave walk guides the visitor along the length of the upper terrace and provides access to the amphitheater, outdoor pavilions, observatory deck, and an array of plazas and gardens. The Moon Tower is at the southern end of the development. Inside this Tower are educational and interactive displays related to astronomy. A birds-eye view of the ever-changing natural scene outside is provided at an overlook.
