ima fielded two teams to participate in the first event in the CHOC Champions League, a series of charity gaming tournaments hosted by Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Herbie Fully Loaded, the team headed by ima designer Ian Larsen, not only won the June 12th Call of Duty Warzone (Duos) event, but went undefeated in five matches. By participating, our staff were directly helping sick patients and their families in their time of need.
CHOC Champion's League is a series of corporate esports tournaments. Companies can sign up as many teams as they like and will play against teams from other firms.
For each event in the league, the winning companies win gaming gear and bragging rights as prizes. Fortunately for our other ima team led by our marketing department, participants needn't worry if they're not the best - the events are focused on having a great time playing together for an amazing cause.
There are three more upcoming events if you'd like to register teams for your company to participate. If you're interested (or know gamers on your teams or in your families who may be), please spread the word and sign up directly at the links below.
June 13: Tetris (1v1) - Family Day!
