ima’s Harrah’s Rincon was recognized by USA Today as one of the 10 best resort swimming pools in America. Harrah’s Rincon Hotel and Casino is located north of San Diego, California near I-15 in Valley Center. ima provided landscape architectural design services for the $150 million renovation and expansion, including the lazy river and adult pool area; the landscape area development hardscape and softscape for the ballroom addition; and the new hotel tower adding 662 new rooms.
According to USA Today, Harrah’s Rincon is “A desert escape with a sun-drenched pool area, this resort is an ideal place to hang out and kick back. Featuring an expansive deck surrounded by palm trees, waterfalls and three uber-luxe swimming pools, the resort includes its own ‘lazy river’ and several heated Jacuzzis as well. In addition, it’s the only swim up bar in Southern California, offering a menu of refreshing tropical libations. For a memorable poolside experience, the 21 extra-large cabanas can be rented daily, and include lounge chairs, flat-screen TVs, mini refrigerators, couches and other amenities.”
