ima was represented by two staff members, Angela Woodward and Ron Izumita, at the 2013 American Society of Landscape Architects Annual Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.
ima‘s Angela Woodward, Senior Associate, braved Boston’s cold, blustery weather as a featured speaker at the November 15th meeting. Her Technical Workshop: Preparing for the Landscape Architect Registration Exam (LARE)—Section 3 Design helps landscape architectural emerging professionals understand how to prepare for and take this exam section. Included were study and practice tips and what is expected on the Design Exam. Angela exemplifies ima‘s commitment to education and the mentoring of emerging professionals.
Ron Izumita, FASLA, sponsored Duane Blossom as a Fellow at the Boston ASLA Fellows Dinner held at the Westin Hotel Ballroom. Duane was among the 33 new Fellows inducted out of a pool of 4000 submissions for the 2013 consideration. Duane was recognized for his contributions as a designer (largely for his work with Ron at POD) and his graduate classroom work at Arizona State University Department of Environmental Design.
