The long time home of the Angels baseball club, Disney’s team completely redesigned the stadium facilities to make a Disney guest experience. ima, in collaboration with Robert A.M. Stern and HOK created an approach which invites guests to participate from the parking lot on to the stadium seat. ima’s innovative paving design for the pre-function area includes a scaled version of the baseball diamond. It’s an opportunity to run the bases just as in the major league. Along with the beer garden, the festive plaza setting with vendor carts extends the entertainment experience.
