ima worked collaboratively with Irvine Apartments Community Landscape Architects to plan and design the site to include market dictated landscape features and amenities. New requirements for EV chargers and ADA site regulatory requirements were carefully woven into the layout and design. The City of Irvine had significant input on connectivity with the city wide trail system as well as wanting streetscapes that fit with the neighborhood. The final landscape character meets all current requirements and reflects the Irvine Apartment Communities brand with a compelling vocabulary for hardscape, softscape, and furniture.
ima's site design efforts resulted in the creation of a two acre central park amenity space, including a resort style pool facility with fitness center, large fenced dog park with bathing spa, and spacious children's play area with adjacent family barbeque dining areas.
