Koll Center Irvine is a 31 acre (13 hectare) high-rise commercial development including office, commercial, retail, and restaurant facilities. A series of water features was created to enhance the central plaza area. A pyramidal fountain serves as the dramatic welcome to the site. Water crosses the plaza as a stream and is edged by granite boulders, which double as seating. At the building entrances and other key points, sets of round steel planters filled with seasonal flowers provide colorful accents to the black, white and grey plaza.
